Church Ceremony

The Church ceremony will take place on April 4Th, 6pm at Igreja Nossa Senhora do Carmo da Antiga Se. Attention, do not enter the wrong church you'll see two churches side by side, ours is the first one.

It's on Rua Primeiro de Março corner with Rua Sete de Setembro.

The PARTY !!

The party will take place on a nice villa called Villa Riso, right after the church ceremony.

Many taxis pass in front of the church and it should not be a problem to get one. Once you reply to our poll (top right), I may try to arrange a common means of transportation.

If not, you just have to say: "Por favor, pegar a Av. Presidente Vargas, o Tunel Rebouças, a Lagoa para São Conrado na Vila Riso."

Where to Stay

We already have rates negotiated for 3 hotels. Please find details below and do not take long to make your reservations, the wedding is in 2,5 months.

We found the cheapest hotel in Rio, but bargains come with some obligations, therefore reservations must be made before 28/ JANUARY / 2009!!!!

Location is great, in Ipanema 50 meters from the beach, but not beachfront. Take a look ( http://www.ipanemainn.com.br/ing/index.php)

Rooms are what you get for such a low rate (see photos I took myself attached) but it’s clean and has air conditioning!

You’ll have to pay up front by 24 / MARCH / 2009, with credit cards, but believe me cheaper than that in Rio you’ll not find!!

You’ll pay for a couple or single room R$ 180,00 + 5% tax per night (around 63,00 Euros with taxes!!!)
